For vehicles that circulate without being equipped with a Technical Inspection Report from KTEO, severe penalties are foreseen starting from a fine of 300 euros and reaching up to the removal of the license.
The cars are submitted for inspection according to the invitation program of the competent K.T.E.O. service, according to the date of issuance of the first license for new vehicles or according to the date of the next inspection indicated in the Technical Inspection Bulletin.
The vehicle submitted for inspection within the week determined by the invitation program of the Ministry is considered to be on time. of Transport, up to 1 week after the date indicated in the previous Technical Inspection Bulletin.If up to 2 additional weeks pass, then the vehicle is considered semi-overdue and charged with a special fee in the form of a parabola in favor of the Greek State.
